Priced to sell due to illness. This has to be the least money for the most boat on the internet. Ohana is a true gem.
The Soverel 48 was built by Soverel Marine in North Palm Beach, Fl. between 1974 and 1985.
For the man who wants to take his ship around the world in comfort, safety and with exciting speed and performance. This is no sluggish powerboat with masts nor a mini-hull built to the IOR with an aft cabin. She will do better than 200 miles a day under reduced sail in the trades. She is as easy to handle as a 30 footer. The extra beam is truly evident in the aft stateroom. Wide and very comfortable; you’d think you are in a much larger boat. Privacy, storage and comfort; your friends may never want to leave! Abundant natural light and good ventilation in the forward stateroom will please them all. A separate compartment houses the MSD and the shower from the Corian-covered vanity. Clean-up is simple and fast with the fiberglass liner
Magnificent private aft cabin with 11 opening ports. companionway hatch, a skylight hatch. head and shower. Main cabin looking forward- Bar and galley, Dinette, Settee. Linen locker forward

Windchimes is a gorgeous Bill Tripp designed for day sailing, racing and cruising.
She has new topsides paint, new deck paint with very tastefully done non-skid, a Yanmar 3GM30 (only 280 hours!), MaxProp, roller furling, good sails, a like new dodger (not shown),
The interior has been mostly redone. It has always been dry and has never experience mold or rot. The original integral keel tank has been replaced with a custom tank and the sole refinished. The headliner is molded fiberglass (not cloth or wood) and has just received a new look.
Importantly, she has a new set cushions that look like they just came from the canvas shop.
There is double-tank propane locker, aluminum tanks, and solenoid system (stove missing though).
However, there are a few odds and ends of remaining work to do: The boat never had a shore-power electrical system and battery charger (most of the parts come with the boat). Sails are excellent, but the boom is wood and of the rolling variety – it works well, but you might want to pick up an aluminum boom and set it up with lazy jacks.
All in all though, the boat is a real head-turner and the upgrades are minor. She can be sailed and motored as is.
THIS IS NOT A SMELLY BOAT! CLEAN AS CAN BE.
She is currently on the hard with new bottom paint. On hard storage is only $200/month and launching has been paid upfront when she was hauled.
